AAAAAAAAHHHH

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

That reminds me that the intro startled a guy who was reviewing this!
He was a funny dude. He's the other guy here in the comments.

what is the image?

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

A monster munching candy.
I didn't do THIS artwork, it was done by Framboot, he's tagged here.

Sounds so 'whwhwhwhwhwhwh' to me

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

When I made this I was trying to switch up my sound a bit.
I was doing a bunch of just rapid fire tracks.
This is quite whistle-y

Might be good for a sub-area, maybe quieter would make a good 'basement' or 'outside' to a horror game? Idk

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

Thanks! And dang it, cause this was when I was trying a bunch
weird editing things and I dont remeber what I did to make this sound. :(

Seems a bit experimental

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

True. The original was a videogame styled song, and this is just an edit of that.
I should've thought to change genres. Also listening back, I should have also balanced the
audio more... oop

I liked how you could layer chiptune, to show like 'chiptune bass' and 'chiptune piano' or something.

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

I've been trying to work on more instrument variation.
Not the easiest thing for me to do and also get everything to harmonize well.
I'm glad you like it!

well, this is pretty basic. Still, the chiptune has a weirdly small waveform.

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

Ahh, yeah this one didn't do as well. I'm guessing that's what it was then?
Too basic sounding. Thanks for the input, cause folks will downvote and not really offer much.

Classical Instruments + Chiptune = the best thing I have every heard

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

I only really ever do chiptunes, and other genres are quite difficult to try for me.
I'm glad you enjoy this experimental style! I try to do one every so often.

This... uh... I don't know what to say...

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

Well, this was intended to be a "spooky" or "eerie" track. There's no real
melody or anything, just something to set a disturbing tone.
Just some really experimental stuff.

Amazing, also it's interesting that the chiptune seems quiet but is very loud!
